Relation of Unemployment Rate and Audience Rating

Half of good thing is bad thing; half of bad thing is the good thing. This is law of everything in the world.

The rise of unemployment rate is the bad thing to government, but is a good thing to TV station. If unemployment rate rises, then the audience rating of the TV program certainly rises. A lot of people are unemployed. What can they do to stay at home? Watch TV. Needn't go to work in the daytime, what can they do? Watch TV. It is the most low-cost recreation to watch TV. Meanwhile, watching TV can let people temporary forget the affliction of unemployment.

In other words, the unemployment is an opportunity to TV station.
